Here are a few tips from Invisible Investor, written under the pen name P. Trevellian.
Hold all your investments or properties in the name of other people or innocuous corporations not bearing your name or anything related to you.
Names like “123 Investments” are good. Use straw men (or women) to hold title where corporations, trusts, Anstalts or foundations can’t be used.
Avoid publicity like the plague. Don’t accept any awards. Don’t be high profile. Avoid politics either as a candidate or visible supporter.
Don’t have (in your name) a snazzy car, yacht or airplane. Never get or have vanity license plates.
If you give to charity, don’t ever have anything named after you. Be anonymous. Use “pen names” to conceal your identity.
If you must get a divorce, settle quickly, avoid publicity and/or lawsuits. Better to never marry.
Dress like a slob, wear sandals & plastic wrist watches. Tell one and all you are so poor you can’t even afford to buy them lunch. Flaunt your poverty.
Keep your mouth shut and don’t even tell your children (or any age) what you are worth lest they blab about it to others.
